Camping, Fishing, Cabins and a Country Store are available in this lakefront campground, located in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains just off the Blue Ridge Parkway.

Montebello means "Beautiful Mountain"

Nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia, our campground is available for tent camping as well as campers, RVs and trailers needing full hook-ups.  We also have rental cabins featuring beautiful views of the mountains and our private lake.  You can rent our rustic Lakeview cabin, one of our Mt. View duplex rentals or our Seven Ridges cabin that offers breathtaking views of the nearby mountains. We have a pavilion that can be used for church retreats, family reunions or other group events.

Located in Nelson County, just three miles off the Blue Ridge Parkway, we are amidst many intriguing attractions of the surrounding area.  Crabtree Falls, considered the highest falls east of the Mississippi, is located just five miles away or visit a natural wonder at Natural Bridge.  Nelson County offers visitors many things to do and see.  There are several wineries, historic sites, antique shops, orchards and hiking, or you may love just driving on the beautiful Blue Ridge Parkway.
