Our Policies

Cabin Reservations

• Reservations can be made online by clicking the "Make Reservation" button on any of our web pages. Reservations and availability requests can also be made by calling the country store during store hours at 540-377-2650.
• Reservations/availability cannot be answered via email or Facebook.
• Full payment for accommodations is required at the time of reservation.
• You must be 21 to rent a cabin.
• Check-in is 3:00 p.m., Check-out is 11:00 a.m. Early check-in or late check-out must have prior approval from management.
• Cabin capacity is a maximum of six (6) people.
• The cabin rate includes four (4) people.  An extra person is $10 per person, per night. (Lakeview - extra person is $5 per person, per night.)  Age five (5) and under are free.
• There is a two (2) night minimum stay on weekends and holidays.
• Stay 6 nights and get the 7th night free!
• Virginia Sales Tax of 5.3% and Nelson County Lodging Tax of 7% are not included in the above rates.
• Dogs (no cats) are allowed in the Lakeview Cabin and the Mt. View B Cabin.  A non-refundable pet fee of $35 per pet is required. There is a two-pet maximum.
• Rates are subject to change without notice, therefore advanced reservations made in the off-season may increase. Should we increase our rates, the current rate will apply at the time of check-in.

Camping Cancellations

• If you cancel your camping reservation 7+ days in advance of your check-in date, you will be refunded your reservation payment minus a $10 processing fee  - or -  you have the option to change the date for a future stay within the current camping season and pay a $10 processing fee.
• If you cancel your camping reservation less than 7 days of your check-in date we will retain the equivalent of one night and will refund the remainder.
• Camping cancellations will not be accepted via Email, Facebook, or voicemail.
• If you need to cancel your reservation please revisit your reservation summary, click on the Cancel Reservation box at the top right-hand corner (or the 3 dots for cellular users) and follow the two-step cancellation process.
• No refunds are given for no-shows.

Cabin Cancellations

• If you cancel your cabin reservation 14+ days in advance of your check-in date, you will be refunded your reservation deposit minus a $25 processing fee  - or -  you have the option to change the date for a future stay within the current camping season and pay a $25 processing fee.
• If you cancel your cabin reservation less than 14 days of your check-in date you will forfeit the equivalent of the first night stay.
• Cabin cancellations will not be accepted via Email, Facebook or voicemail.
• If you need to cancel your reservation please revisit your reservation summary, click on the Cancel Reservation box at the top right-hand corner (or the 3 dots for cellular users) and follow the two-step cancellation process.
• No refunds are given for no-shows.
